Long Overdo.

Hello friends and family!
After too much time thinking about it, I am finally Blogging! I am so excited to to share with all of you a little peek into my world of photography and being an artist. Thank you so much for all the love you have all shown me up to this point and joining me along my journey in the world of photography and watching me develop and grow as an artist. I would appreciate your continued support, ideas, thoughts, comments, and love as I continue to grow.
My husband and I are currently stationed with the U.S. Army in Savannah, Georgia at Fort Stewart. We have been through many ups and downs with the Army and I will carry with me some of the best and worst memories I have ever experienced. My husband is an incredible man. He is a very tall, athletic, loving guy who would do anything for me. I am so blessed to have found my soul mate and best friend to spend the rest of my life with. While my husband doesn't share my love of art, he is one of my biggest supporters.
Stephen and I have one "child", our handsome English Bulldog, Mojo. You will see random posts, pictures and comments about Mojo, as he never ceases to provide my husband and I endless entertainment.
Having been stationed in South Georgia, my husband and I have been separated from our families in both Washington D.C. and Michigan. We are both incredibly blessed to have the love and support of our amazing families and would love to someday be able to live closer to them both.
I have a passion for photography. I don't know if all photographer feel this way, but I continually feel "exposed" when sharing my art with other people. I love what I do and pour my heart into every single photograph. When I photograph someone, I always try and photograph them as the whole world would remember them if they were gone tomorrow. I hope that people want to remember the smiles, laughs, winks, and expressions that happen more organically than an overly posed picture or awkward stance. I will never claim to be a "professional", but more of a seriously passionate amateur. Thank you for your love and support!
